The Imperfectionists

The Imperfectionists - Tom Rachman Rachman was born in London, England and grew up in Vancouver. Rachman studied at the University of Toronto and obtained a Master's Degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He worked as a journalist for the Associated Press. The Imperfectionsists tells the story about an independent international news paper located in Rome. It tells separate stories for the main people involved in the news paper now and the story about how the news paper got set up and grew. The reviews where already all over the place an though I do think there will be people who like it I had a hard time making it to the end. I had the idea the book was more about the struggle of a news paper in the new era with internet and reducing numbers, but it is more about the people from the news paper struggling with themselves. Though occasionally funny the book is one of big depressive moods and unhappy people.
